Inspired by shells collected & memories of the sea I printed this small print of a whelk shell on seaweed. Its a reminder of visits to the coast, returning with sandy pockets full of small treasures including this shell.
Printed with Process Blue safe wash ink on Mulberry paper. Made from Kozo (Mulberry fibres) it has strength & translucency so gives a lovely effect to prints. Also available on the lovely Lokta Paper.
Although each print is taken from the same block, the handprinted process will result in each print having subtle differences, depth of colour & placement, making each print unique.
This particular print is an open edition, meaning that I can take multiple prints from the block, the prints will not be numbered but will be signed & titled by hand
The print is mounted and is in a cello bag
