Honeysuckle & Foxglove - an original Lino Cut Print
This print has been a joy to make. My process involves lots of sketching and drawing. For this print I drew directly onto the Lino block. I like to work organically so I do sometimes amend and change the design when I start carving. I did have the honeysuckle flowers and stems in the workshop along with some foxglove flowers, I like to work from real life where I can. I also use photographs and books for reference.
This particular print is an open edition, meaning that I can take multiple prints from the block, the prints will not be numbered but will be signed & titled by hand
The print comes ready mounted with an off white mount, and measures: External Mount Size: 304 X 432mm Aperture/ Image Size: 204 X 332mm
Printed with Caligo safe wash ink in Prussian Blue on Natural Kitakata paper
