Inspired by January walks across frozen fields and the surprising amount of different shades of grey that appear in a winter sky in Yorkshire.
Watching fabulous Fieldfares on most of my walks has been joyous. A surprising bird that is more colourful than you might at first think. Captured here in print in Paynes Grey ink which I hope you agree sums up the whole winter vibe much more comprehensively than black might have done.
I am thrilled with how this print has turned out and Im delighted to share part of my local area and bird life with you.
Its a large print with a printed area of 30cm high by 20cm wide
Printed on Japanese Okawara Select paper, a lovely smooth natural coloured paper which complements the ink so well.
Mounted with off white mount, backing board in cello bag
